The summer school will teach you about the
challenges of building billion-user systems
and present approaches to address those challenges.
Format
The class is structured as a 5-days intensive summer course. Each day, there will be a lecture in the morning followed by a discussion in the afternoon. In addition, students will participate in group exercises on design, paper critiquing, and code writing.
Prerequisites
Each student should bring a computer; any kind (Chromebook, Mac, Windows, etc.) will do.
